I feel so much better now.

Well, David replied to my email, and we've pretty much cleared things up.
Which is great! The only thing that sucks in my life right now is that Sangy is away, which means I'm BORED OUT OF MY MIND.
Oh well.
I am not supposed to be on the computer right now, but my brother is being a sweetie and won't tell on me.
I lost my computer time for today because Dad caught me sneaking on yesterday.
Guess it had to happen eventually. I mean, I've been sneaking on while he was in the house for ages.
That was the first time for two months that he's caught me though. So I guess I'm a good sneak-er. Not sneaker. Sneak-er. So I'm not a shoe.
GOTTA GO BYE

Bleeeeargh.

I'm so bored.
But I read a few good books. If you're looking for light, funny-ish material and have a thing for vampire stories, I recommend The Good Ghoul's Guide to Getting Even, by Julie Kenner. It was a fun read.
If you want something a bit heavier as topics go, then try ALT ED, by Catherine Atkins. It was sad, but it does have a happy ending. It's a damn good book.
Now, if you're okay with topics like suicide in books, then I have an uber-good book for you. Seriously. If you can handle what's in the book, DON'T PASS IT UP. The name of the amazing book is: Thirteen Reasons Why, by Jay Asher. Seriously, it was so good. I promised myself I'd go to sleep at nine and I stayed up 'til eleven thirty almost just so I could finish it, even though I knew I was going to get like, no sleep. It was worth it. I think I might read it again, actually. It was that mind-blowing.
You want a summary? Go on wiki, I'm feeling lazy. Plus, I doubt that my blog is getting many hits. Who cares about my thoughts when you can make your own?

Wooooo! I did it!

I did everything on the list AND worked on my story. Now all I have to do is go to Drama and sign up. :)
Also, things I need to get for school:
-New pencil case
-geometry set
-paper
I can't wait to go get my schedule and find out what classes I have this year.
OH! That reminds me.
-CALL FREYA.
Anyways, I know I'm taking drama, which is bloody fricken awesome. :)
I think I get moral, but I'm not sure. Either way, another thing that makes this year special is that my little brother is going to come this year! Vinny, my youngest brother. My other younger brother goes to a different school because he has autism and apparently our parents don't want us to get distracted, 'cause in elementary I was always going to check on him and stuff.
Which was fun. Joe's a cutie.
Both my bros are, but you can't have them, they're mine. *hug*

I AM HOME

Yay!
Not really.
But I've started writing a horror story with sangy, which is fun. I'm pretty proud of my first post. It was sufficiently creepy and explanatory and horror-ish.
I HAVE SO MUCH TO DO.
Okay, LIST:
-email drama group the list because goddamnit you've been putting this off for months
-download all the songs I heard while staying with Sangy that I liked
-charge my ipod
-download a whole bunch of songs onto my ipod
-update my fanfics and delete the really crappy one [well, the crappy part of the crappy one because the beginning isn't bad]
-unpack
-clean my room

As you can see... UGH.
Plus now that I'm back, all my problems are kind of in focus, and I'm reminded that I have to go to school soon.
I owe Sangy some licorice.

Bai bai.
-Carla,
semi-depressy and in a procrastinate-y mood. also very tired.

Well, I'm off to the beach!

In my (relatively) new swimsuit and my new (only worn twice before) dress. :)
With my cousins (3) and their friend (1).
I'm in a brackety (not a word, I know) mood today, but at least I'm not hyper. That sort of wore off- I'm tired. Just a little. But happy. SWIMMING!
I love the water so much. Call me crazy, but the weight of the water is kind of comforting, you know? And it's fun.
Gotta scram- BEACH TIME!
Ciao,
Carla

HAI GUISE

Yeah, it's me. In the following days, I have:
Gone to church once.
Started a new rpg with my cousin.
Read breaking dawn. (FIVE HOURS OHHH BEAT THAT)
Eaten ice cream, bacon, butterscotch tarts, chicken, pancakes, cereal, milk and lemonade as well as breath mints.
Gone to bed no earlier than 1 o'clock.
Woken up no earlier than 7 o'clock.
Used my cousin's computer multiple times.
Attended one party.
Played 3 wii games.
Been in first place at mario kart 3 times.

BECOME THOROUGHLY, UTTERLY BORED.

Why? Because I have no money, and thus could not go and shop with the girls.
LIFE SUCKS AND THEN YOU DIE.
This is NOT TRUE.
Life sucked a lot for the past year almost, and I still haven't died. So there. I win.
I feel semi-depressed. Yay.

Have you ever felt that you're not wanted even though you've been waiting seemingly forever to get in that place? Ugh. I'm being stupid. Don't listen to me, okay? I'm just trying to get my thoughts into order.

I have had fun here, though. The party's been a blast, I had lots of good laughs with my cousin.
Basically a highlight of my life, at this point. i actually couldn't believe I was actually here when i got here.
When my Dad told me I was staying at Alyce's, I freaked out and had a hyper explosion of squeeing. Which basically shows how happy I am to be here, finally. I love it here.
Good company. :)

Thursday, August 7, 2008

Well, today will probably be my last posting day until the twenty-second.

I'm going on vacation tomorrow! To Nova Scotia, where I will see Sangy, my cousin!
Of course, this means a brutal twelve-hour van drive, but that's okay. It's worth it.
I'll actually get there tomorrow. Around 5pm or 6pm, probably.
AND, SANGY!--> Teresa, Anjo+ Uncle Rob will be arriving on SATURDAY.
Which means that we could have a sleepover BEFORE they come, if my 'rents aren't opposed.
Like this: reachgramdpa'splace-->gotoyourplace-->gotoparty-->returnhomefromthere.
My parents might not want to drive me, but oh well. T'was a thought. Or, if Anjo and Teresa leave before sunday, i could go to your place from church. :) Either way, there's many opportunities.

But, yeah, about the van drive, since I'm pretending you're rabidly curious and interested:
Basically a drive straight through, done in one shot. Twelve straight hours of driving. So, we'll get up at four in the morning (me at 3, to take a shower and brush my teeth and stuff like that), put our bags in the car, and take off. We'll stop for breakfast a a restaurant, possibly making bathroom stops while we're at it. Thebn, we'll take off again, not stopping for lunch because we are going to have a picnic in the car while we're driving, which save us some time. That was my idea. :) And by suppertime, we'll be at my Grandpa's house!
To pass the time, I have CDs, my Walkman, a notepad, a pen, and a marker, and Breaking Dawn. Which might just last me the entire trip, seeing as it has 754 pages.
So, yeah. Wish me not luck, but non-boredom. Please.
